Catania - San Diego

Our favorite restaurant in La Jolla! We began with the citrus salad, which was amazing! Next, we enjoyed scallops as our second course, followed by a fantastic pasta dish that combined pesto and tomato sauces. The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent!

The dinner was delicious, and the dessert was even better. The service was excellent. Christian, our server, answered all of my questions in detail, and I had quite a few inquiries about the menu.

The rooftop area is perfect for lunch or dinner. The food is incredible, making it difficult to decide what to order. I suggest sharing a few dishes. The pasta is homemade, and the pizza is authentic Neapolitan style, cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Excellent service (bob was a fantastic server! and delicious food. I had noticed a birthday on our reservation and they went out of their way to make it special.

Catania is always amazing! By far my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Their food is both plated beautifully, and tastes incredible.
