Perfect noodle soup! Good service, clean, chill ambiance.

Came on a weekday night for take out NO one in the shop and I almost thought I was in the wrong place. What a great place to get away from the crowds in some of the other Convoy shops.I was coming for take out regardless. Food was comparable to neighborhood Spicy City, but a tad sweeter as they veer towards Shanghainese.Pork buns, as oft pictured by other reviewers and gone too quickly for my picture, were as good as raved previously.

This is just hands down the best Chinese food in this city. Everything on the menu is top notch. Lo mein is top notch. Chow fun is top notch. Dumplings are top notch. Buns are top notch. Soups are top notch. There's no way to go wrong with anything on the menu. This is the only Chinese place I go to.

Had the French steak, wanton soup and potstickers. Excellent food and service. Can get busy so plan to wait a little but it's worth the effort.

So Din Tai Fung has set a very high bar for XLB and this place, while not the same in experience definitely rivals theirs. The burst of soup in the mouth was amazing here...I mean I am talking flavorville. Not all of their dishes are five star, but their XLB, chow mein, and dumplings were Also, we had an awesome server who seemed to be a one man show and he made the experience excellent.
