フィードバックを提供するIt's a nice place to taste experience some of Chiapas' flavors. This modest restaurant offers two menus: de Autor traditional. The whole experience is worth it. The prices are fair, and the flavors are OK. Besides, they have a very friendly staff.
Tasty traditional food! To start off with they brought out a yummy vege on crisp tortilla amuse. We ordered the mole(which had some meat inside with the mole all wrapped in a maize pastry kind of thing with fried bananas (plantains) yum!! We also had the guacamole (they kept bringing out fresh hot large fried tortillas), then for main course we ordered traditional food of the Chiapa region. Calabacitas rellenas stuffed zuchinni with a peanut kind of sauce. Super juicy Pechuga rellenas chorizo wrapped in chicken breast Both were super tasty and not dry at all. Both came with salad with roasted sliced beets and sweet potato plenty of fresh warm tortillas!!! Definitely recommend ... plenty of items (incl vego) to choose from. Drinks beer and non alcoholic only. No wine Would go again!!
This is a really lovely local restaurant where you can try regional food prepared in a modern way. But it’s perhaps not the outstanding meal I expected from the other high ratings. My dish was tasty- pumpkin stuffed with chorizo and sauce but my partner’s dish was not good- dry beef wrapped in kale and spinach with more kale and uncooked spinach on the side. In summary worth a visit (and the long walk) but be careful what you choose!
