Oc Fresca - San Clemente

A refreshing take on Baja Mexican cuisine. The tacos are excellent, with plenty of vegetarian and fish options available. The drink selection is impressive, too. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is situated in a fantastic location. On a nice day, you can enjoy the back patio, which offers stunning ocean views. It's truly a hidden gem in San Clemente.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the service was good once we were seated. However, the food was just average, although the Cadillac margaritas were excellent. We're uncertain if we'll return, as there are much better options available in San Clemente.

It was somewhat mediocre; I don't feel any urgency to go back.

Our server, Luis, was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp and Salmon Tacos, along with the Classic Guacamole. The chips and salsa were also great.

While enjoying a mango daiquiri at the lovely circular bar beneath the high ceiling, I found it surprisingly lacking in alcohol. However, there’s a selection of intriguing draft beers available. One area that requires attention is the old plumbing in both restrooms, as well as waitstaff training. Two servers, smiling yet somewhat tense, appeared unsure about who was assigned to our table, and neither seemed well-versed in the menu items. Lastly, I wonder how the numerous televisions contribute to the overall atmosphere. Wishing them the best of luck!
