La Tiendita - San Clemente

Good food and great prices, great menu, so I have to try to give it 5 stars again

Always great authentic Mexican cuisine. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants for the taste and quality of food. You don't always get the crowd right. You can order two street cups and end with three. It was a little cool on the day I was there as they have a habit of keeping the front door open in the windows even on cool days.

I really like this place. The food is great quality, really authentic. The place is a little run down, frankly it’s extremely authentic a real hole in wall kind of place. The staff is very nice and the menu is great. They also offer Jarritos soda and Arizona which I like. The price is very affordable definitely one of the most affordable places to get a breakfast burrito in San Clemente. Definitely recommend picking up a few burritos and heading to the beach.

Great spread of options for such a small place out of the way. Had a few meals here, and the breakfast platters are solid and filling, and the tacos are big and traditional. All you could ask for out of a taste of Mexico close to the border.

I stopped by this charming little restaurant on my way back from the campsite, and it was a delightful experience. We found exactly what we were craving: authentic Mexican food. The menudo was especially fantastic, and the chilaquiles we had were delicious as well. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding; they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!
