Rainforest Cafe - San Antonio

Here for my 2 year with my partner, the decoration, layout and staff were amazing AND SO WAS THE FOOD!!! We had a reservation so that we came quite fast, and although it is a bit expensive, it is definitely worth the food and the overall experience. Was some of the best foods I had in a while and honest was a very nice place, most people expect it to be a novelty place, but all about it is amazing! 10/10. Also a prop to the amazing staff and cook, and the gift shop was also very cute!

I came in here to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday on 4/9/22 . It was a great choice , she loved it . No online reservation needed , we only waited about 30 minutes for a table and that was on a Saturday afternoon and it was for a family of 3 . The food and drinks were perfect. Thank you to our waiter Zia that helped me celebrate my daughters birthday we’ll be back very soon .

Our food was good but a bit pricey. My kids had pasta and they enjoyed that too. We were able to order from the bar while we waited for our table. In fact we were able to walk all the way to the Alamo and back since our wait was 2 1/2 hrs. I've never waited that long for a table in a restaurant but oh well it was Friday evening and we had never been there before. Server was attentive and kids liked the props and setting.

Parents from presentation good. Cleanliness and sanitation not so good. Food well s didn't know how to cook medium rare steak. Coleslaw was the worst I've ever had. The rest of the food was pretty good. And it was entertaining for the family.

Very pricey food that's not fantastic. My wifes food came out incomplete, but they did get the rest of it out quickly. For a $35 plate it was missing nearly one third of the food. She said her food was cooked well and had good flavors. As for mine, the food was good. The mango salsa that came over my fish was dry, but also a third of what i ordered was bad. The shrimp and scallops was watery and tasted bad. Again, for a $30 plate it was a disappointment. As for the environment, it was nice. My daughter was a bit scared of all the animal noises because it was overly loud, but she did enjoy the experience. For the near $200 I spent, it was overall not worth it. We spent about $50 on alcoholic beverages, all which were good. I give it 3 stars because the waiter was kind, and the drinks were good.
