Pete's Tako House - San Antonio

I tried the tacos here and they were absolutely delicious—loaded with meat! I ordered the carne guisada, fajita, and carne asada tacos, and they were all fantastic. I highly recommend them. I placed my order, but now I can't wait to go back and try the enchiladas!

Update evaluation: This is the breakfast taco stop! It's a SA stack and always bring friends here! The tacos are big and absolutely delicious. Especially the staff is really sweet, responsive and attentive. The whole experience is amazing here! Ask for Erik when you go!!! Breakfast Tacos are incredible! I usually eat a lot and didn't think that 3 tacos would fill me, but they are super big for a reasonable price! Super happy with this place!

This is the place to go for Mexican food in San Antonio. Given I haven’t tried them all, but as a tourist who loves Mexican food, this was a hit. The waiters and staff were friendly, the cooks were singing and laughing in the back, and the atmosphere here felt just right. Not like a tourist trap on the river walk. I got the best tortilla soup I’ve ever had, the enchilada trio was great and the beans were so flavorful. The tacos were fresh and yummy, with extra lime to my preference. Price was great and I got in right away around 11am. Will come back next time I’m in town

Delicious! Our server suggested the Pete's street tacos plate, which includes 5 tacos and beans, and I'm so glad we decided to try it! The portion was more than enough for two adults and two young children (ages 5 and 7). The chips and salsa were delightful, and the service was incredibly friendly. The concrete floors do make it a bit noisy, but overall, we had a fantastic experience. And it was very affordable—queso, two taco plates, and four drinks came to just $32!
