Las Palapas Leon Springs - San Antonio

The frozen margaritas were delicious! I also enjoyed the homemade tortillas. We tried the flautas, quesadilla, and tacos al carbon. The service was excellent and our food came out quickly!

The staff was very accommodating to my needs, as I am currently on crutches. They went out of their way to find us a table that was easily accessible for me. They were friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

The food was flavorful and fresh. However, our server was slow to take our initial order and did not check back to offer refills or see if we wanted dessert.

I think the place serves decent food. unfortunately I ordered the chicken tortilla suppe and was another suppe I had earlier. it had a lot of rice in, large pieces chiclenbein meat instead of the lean, and not much more. my wife had the filled avocado, which was also simple and without much taste. we probably go back there and try something else.

It drives me crazy how they always ask you if you want salsa at the drive thru but don't put it in the bag! I always tip too.. Check your order before leaving. Some of the tacos only taste good with salsa on them.
