Brick House Tavern Tap - San Antonio

Tonight is a special daddy-daughter night out! My partner and I have visited Brickhouse Tavern many times, but it wasn't until tonight that I brought my dad along after showing him some pictures.

We visited this Nuvo-Pub for a farewell party for our chef. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a table right in front of the group.

We decided to give this place a try after seeing the menu online and the large selection of dishes. When we arrived, there was no host and we had to wait for about 5 minutes.

I had lunch at the bar and had a great experience. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The drink menu had a wide variety of options and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious and I will definitely return in the future.

Happy Hour Hot Spot. Visited here with The Husband. It was happy hour so the beer was cold delicious and on sale and appetizers were $5 each so we got a couple of those instead of full meals. Fried zucchini was awesome. We will definitely be back.Went a second time with a large party of family type crowd. Merideth was not as good when they were a bit busier, but food was again delicious. Some reviews say salty and I agree but I am a fan or salty food. tavern is in the name and it is bar food but better. the Hubs went with some co-workers and said the chicken and waffles is awesome and so big another guy in his party had to finish it for him.
