Antlers Lodge - San Antonio

Keep in mind that this is a hotel dining room with varying clientele. When we were there, we were overwhelmed by unattended noisy children. Also, if you are sensitive to smoke, be aware a there may be a Mesquite smoke aroma.

Beautiful ambience… The staff is very kind and very helpful and the chef is spot on… Every single meal that we've had there is incredible… The quantity of food is good and the area all around the restaurant is beautiful to take a walk.

Overall Very Underwheling for the money. Would not go back.

Ambiance was nice, service and food were very good, but my $15 glass of wine was undrinkable. I’ve tasted many wines from many countries, but this one had a terrible “chalky” taste to it and I couldn’t finish it. Mentioned it to the gentleman who sat us and clearly the glass still had most of the pour in it, but they didn’t make any effort to remedy the situation by offering a different wine or refunding the cost for the glass. Other than that, it was a good experience.

The food was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. All around will go back and highly recommend.
