This restaurant is a cute cozy little cottage off the main beaten path of all the over-visited Mexican restaurants. What a pleasant and refreshing surprise! Excellent, diverse menu- lots of tasty choices for vegetarians too! We had Spanish olive and Chilean turnovers for tapas, then had a great entree called Venezuelan Arapas (corn and cheese patty with black beans and salsa and salad, yum! Our dessert was great, flan and ;coco banano ; which were fried bananas coated with coconut, drizzled with honey and dollop of sour cream! All the flavors and tastes were amazing! And the service was great, I felt like I was in someone 's home! We even got say thanks to Berta herself! Try it!

For my reservation on Mother's Day and they were closed. I called and waited and nothing.
