Purple Onion - SALUDA

Everything was excellent! We came for our reservation early because our plans for the day got done sooner than expected, and they were so kind as to accommodate us! We sat on their patio which was a lovely space, and our server Celia was awesome! She was very attentive and super sweet, and she made sure everything was great! All of our food was delicious but I especially enjoyed the mushroom and arugula pizza, and the two deserts we got, the tiramisu and the blackberry cobbler. Overall a fantastic experience!

Food was delicious! Lana was an excellent server! We sat on the patio, although we had requested a table inside. Once we were seated inside, however, the party at the table beside us was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, so the hostess kindly found a place for us outside, where the ambience and service were perfect! Highly recommend!

I waited several days before posting this review. I give one star because of the food and their reservation rules. In order to get a 630 dinner reservation last Saturday night we had to pay $10 per person for the band. I was OK with that. However the band didn't start until 8pm so I asked for my money back. They refused which I think is very poor management. So if you go here be prepared to pay a fee without any value, which is wrong.

So much delicious food and lovely wait staff. Service more than a smile and lots of dessert choices all of which were great!

Great place in a quaint small town. The food offerings are eclectic and delicious. Very busy place for a Monday, probably because most places seem to be closed on Mondays. Originally requested outside seating because open table said that was all that was available. Was seated in the main dining room. It was such a beautiful night and it would have been more enjoyable outdoors. The dining room was very loud and hard to have a conversation. The service was good!
