Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This chain has fallen from its high place. Every thing from 25.00 children's toys, to a waitress who tells you what you want to eat, to corn muffins that are so dry and hard that you wish you had not ordered them. Even those usually excellent fried apples were cut in big chunks , the peel was left on, and had no noticeable cinnamon flavor. The service was very slow. Waitress said the kitchen was behind, so I couldn't figure out why she was rushing us to order quickly. She said not to get the soup I wanted since it was very watery. I'm tempted to not go back, at least not to that location.

I ordered chicken pot pies to go and they maybe had a tablespoon off the filling in a tray with all this crust. It was absolutely horrible Cracker Barrel is usually delicious but this was yuck Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Not many patrons in the restaurant, ordered and the waitress came back that they were out of chicken dumplings. The hash brown casserole was dry and cold. Actually looked like rice. We ordered biscuits with butter and grape and blackberry jam. She brought 4 biscuits, 2 butters, 1 grape and 1 blackberry jam for 2 people. Not a great experience and this was the 2nd bad experience in 2 months. Won’t be back. Service: Dine in
