Tres Hombres Mexican Grill And Cantina

This restaurant has been in Salt Lake for many, many years. This was the first time I have been and I really enjoyed it. The chips were fabulous and they kept giving me more when I needed them. It was a joy just sitting down and having chips and salsa. I got the blue tacos which were pretty good. I'm not sure if I was a fan of the hard blue taco shells. But all in all it was a good meal. The serving of guacamole was very generous. It is an experience just going to this restaurant. I would definitely try it out if you're in the area. The parking is in the back and you have to go up a lot of stairs to get to the restaurant. I was lucky to get a spot as this restaurant is pretty popular. It can be difficult to find parking. They do offer t-shirts that are really cute if you want to take a souvenir home with you.

Sweet pork chimichanga. Good food, good service. I went for lunch on a Monday. Not busy. I would definitely do again.

Best Mexican in all the valley! Best atmosphere, best food, best service. They have the most delicious chips and salsa and I am not the only person that says that. I hope they never change whatever they do. I have had a lot of different things there and never disappointed. My family has been going here for over 30 years. As I child I did not like anything about the restaurant, but about 15 years ago they remodeled, the food stepped up, and the service got so much better. I love introducing people here. This is no. 1!!

Tres Hombres was THE Mexican place to go when I was growing up! I was so excited to go back and celebrate a family birthday! Right off the bat, the service was not great. Our server was very short with us and seemed to be inconvenienced that we were there. We were determined to have a good time anyway! We ordered lots of food and waited a while for it to arrive. Unfortunately, the food isn't what it used to be. It was really bland and flavorless! I was so looking forward to my Mole! When I received my meal, it appeared to have been sitting under heat laps for too long as the sauce had started to evaporate. The majority of our table didn't care for their food, and The Birthday Girl even had the server take her food away. Prices were very expensive for what we received. Just under $200 for 4 entrees, 4 sodas, 2 kids' meals, and automatic gratutity. I really hope they can get the service and kitchen figured out. It's a great location, and the area is only booming.

Very good catering! We have used them a few times for catering and the food was delivered hot and yummy. We eat in the restaurant about once a month and catering is the same quality. Highly reocmmend!
