The Garden Restaurant - Salt Lake City

I ordered the blackened salmon dish with asparagus and Spanish rice for dinner and it was mostly good-- the sauce was a bit too tomato-ey, but the salmon was cooked very well. The kick from the spices was also a very nice touch too. The service was good and when it comes to dining slightly above casual, this is a great place to go. One interesting thing was the fact that no alcoholic beverages, coffee, or tea options were available. Understandable as it is here in Utah, I thought it a bit peculiar.

Oh my heavens! What a great place to eat! Great food, AMAZING view of the beautiful temple, cute decor, and a mostly open ceiling! I ate there with my sister's and our server was very kind and helpful and even helped us clean up a spill we made. :) Highly recommended!

Stopped in after our private tour guide recommended their food. So glad we did! Service was outstanding and their food was delicious! They are known for their fried pickles and while these are available many places, these were lightly battered and delicious! We also had the burrata appetizer which had roasted garlic and sundried tomatoes served with these yummy bread triangles. We had burgers, mac and cheese (portions are large as well as salmon. All super tasty. Beware the yummy rolls they bring by at the beginning of the meal- locally made and outstanding. Fluffy with delicious layers...so good! The views are outstanding. You can see a lot of the city which was fun while enjoying lunch. Highly recommend! On of the building inside Temple Square.
