フィードバックを提供するHow do you describe a wonderful place? We stopped on a peaceful Sunday afternoon. We were here for a few nights on a long trip from Florida. Awakened in the Tetons at 49 degrees, ended in Salt Lake at 100. I found Kaze on Google Maps, and it was very close to our hotel. You have a great menu. We had the pork tonkatsu rays, salmon salad, sushi and sashimi, a few glasses of wine and two Sapporo beers. Unbelievable meal. The physical restaurant is neat, our server is very nice. Our favorite reggae play in the background. Hard to beat. Prices are very reasonable.
Has become my go to sushi restaurant in town! Sushi is dependably delicious. Maybe not quite to Takashi level quality, but you also don’t need to wait for 2 hours in line or plan your entire evening around getting a reservation here so I’d say that’s worth it! Service can sometimes be a little slow, but the prices are really reasonable compared to other top sushi places like Sapa, Tsunami, Takashi, etc, and the food is fresh and delicious, and rolls are creative! Open late, no need for reservations, tasty and even their to go food is fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great sushi at a decent price without a wait.
Kaze sushi is a trendy, modern, sushi spot in downtown SLC. The Hamachi crudo was really tasty and fresh, with yuzu and ponzu flavors. Didn't taste much of the truffle though. We tried the Rainbow and sugarhouse special rolls and they were good as well. I liked the Rainbow roll more than the sugarhouse, as the piece of lime topping was a little weird for me. The salmon sashimi came in thick cut slices, bigger than I normally see, but was good.
I was on the hunt for Ramen and wasn't disappointed in finding myself here. The ramen was good and so was the sake. The atmosphere feels authentic which just elevates the entire experience. The service was a little spotty and I found myself waiting around to ask for certain things I needed, including the check. The employees were very nice, though. Skip the place next door which is a generic chain and come here instead if you're looking for ramen.
The only good thing about this place was the two sushi rolls that we ordered! The waitress acted like she didn’t even want to be there and wasn’t nice at all but was very attentive to the group of drunk ladies in the corner and making sure they were all taken care of! It took was way too long to get any of our food! After waiting a good minute for the waitress we had to go approach her for a refill on our drinks and then again for our check! She never checked back with us so we could order more sushi, we actually went to another joint to eat more sushi and it was better! It’s a cute restaurant and very clean! Absolutely over priced as well for sushi! If your into the yuppi experience then this is your place!
