While it's a nice little store, their hot sauce selection was limited to just a few brands (Valentina, El Yucateco, and only a couple more). . The produce looked decent, and they have the usual large assortment of dried peppers and spices in bags (El Chilar brand) and lots and lots of candies and snacks.
Ever since I went to Mexico to Visit my brother and his family I've been on a quest to find a taqueria that comes Even remotely close To the food that I experienced in Mexico. Dietz DE Mayo was delicious. I had shrimp carnitas and chicken. The food was warm well prepared and extremely tasty. I thought to myself why isn't every seat in this place full?! Seriously if you want authentic Mexican tacos this is the best you're gonna get around this area.
Love this place. My boyfriend and I always go here to eat breakfast. Sometimes while we wait on our food, we grocery shop.
Great Mexican and Jamaican food! We'll definitely be back.
Loved stopping in this market! We found so many great goodies in here, and all of the staff is super friendly. This place is a market combined with an actual sit down restaurant in the back. The restaurant food was super delicious! I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure I would like the flautas we got, but I ended up really enjoying both dishes we tried. The one thing I didn’t absolutely love was the horchata. I’ve been to Mexico and had the authentic horchata several times, and this one just didn’t par up for me. That being said, could have just been a bad batch. Pricing all very reasonable All in all, would definitely return here. It’s always nice to be able to find other culture and perspective in a city where you didn’t expect to find it. Thanks Diez De Mayo!
