Kokoro Sushi - Salinas Ca

Great place to get delicious sushi. The service is amazing. They always seem busy.

Very good sushi rolls, especially the new menu options they’ve added. I’m a regular here and there’s a reason for it. The only grip I have is the service can be sub par at times.

First time dining here and I was surprised and glad at how much portions I got from my meal and how excellent it tasted. I’ve traveled to Japan and have had pork Tonkatsu and this was so delicious. Rivals that for sure. And the price wasn’t bad. 16 dollars or so for this entire meal. The atmosphere was nice as well, you have local soccer teams being played on the television sets and it was nicely furnished. Staff working was A

I went there for dinner, while in town on business. I ordered a dinner combination, with a glass of wine. The miso soup was cold, the combo plate food was cold, the rice was not sticky, the salad had a dollop of sauce and after the top layer, the salad was just lettuce. The wine didn't taste good either. Our dinner for two with two combos, a total of 3 glasses of wine came out to $81. That's a lot for a Mediocre combo dinner. They didn't even put wasabi on the plate. The food tasted okay, but it was COLD.

The waitress’ in there are absolutely horrible, need some major customer service training something, walked in for my carry out order (which was over 70$ and not one of them greeted me or asked if they could help me with anything, I assumed they were busy and they’d get to me shortly, NOPE. That’s the type of service you’ll get a CaCaRo.
