Had not been to Prezzo for a while and the quality of the meals has clearly declined, or maybe I just chose poorly. Ordered the Crab Lobster Ravioli, which sounded brilliant in the menu: Handmade ravioli generously filled with crab and lobster. Served in a velvety tomato lobster bisque, spinach and a handful of chives That generously filled part was a lie. The ravioli were flat. And look, I know crab and lobster ain 't cheap, I was expecting a hint of them, but still, how difficult is to mince courgettes/leeks/celery/shallots, reduce them in seafood stock so they infuse, and then mix them with the tiny bit of lobster/crab so at least the pasta looks like proper ravioli and not like pancakes? And the velvety tomato lobster bisque ? It 's just creamy tomato sauce. That 's it. It was SO disappointing. Still, it was warm, it tasted ok, and the service was absolutely lovely; so it will do in a pinch. I just need to remember to order pizza or Alfredo next time.
