The Novotel Salerno Est Arechi hotel was a bit of a disappointment. The exterior and lobby areas looked tired and in need of a refresh, and our room was no exception. The decor was outdated, and the bed, while comfortable, was starting to show its age. The bathroom was clean, but the fixtures and fittings were worn and could use an update. The staff, however, were a bright spot in our stay. They were friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to help us with any requests we had. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, with a wide selection of options and a pleasant atmosphere. Despite these positives, however, the overall state of the hotel was a letdown. The hallways and public areas could use a refresh, and the rooms themselves felt tired and in need of modernization. For a one-night stay, it was adequate, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay or for anyone looking for a more luxurious experience.
