The Original Pancake House - Salem

Come here a few times a year to order my grandmother and I breakfast when I visit her. The food is always good and the employees are always friendly. I just don’t think the food and the prices match up value wise.

Love this place smells fabulous homey atmosphere with wonderful service. My Mom and I had crepes for a birthday breakfast and they even brought hers out with a candle ????!

Great breakfast place. Gluten friendly (not Gluten free) pancake options. The sausage and bacon are expensive but excelent!

The food is alright comparable to other diners in town. On the weekends expect to wait at least an hour from getting there to having food. Very pricey for what you get (two eggs a couple small sausage links and an order of the crepes was $30).

This is my favorite breakfast spot! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food. I love the 49er flapjacks and the banana, blueberry, and Hawaiian pancakes. The coffee is tasty and the bacon is fantastic. My only issue is the pricing - $7.50 for a side of bacon (3 slices) is too expensive. But, when I really want it, I'll still order it.
