La Hacienda Real Lancaster - Salem

We've been dining here for almost 11 years as La Hacienda Real has become one of our top date night spots. Even with the plethora of Mexican food trucks, markets, and restaurants popping up all over town this counties to be one of our top spots. The servers at this locally owned family establishment are often here long term and remember you when you return for dining. This personal element adds a personal warmth to the dining experience.

Menu comparable to similar style Mexican restaurants in the area. Typically our go to along Lancaster Dr. Service is really good even when they're busy. However, even when they're busy they way they're set up it never feels crowded. Very spacious inside. Food never takes long. Ordered the Chicken Taquitos and chicken was black was black on a few of them, tortilla so crispy the outer layer flaked right off when cutting. Restaurant was virtually empty so we were a little surprised that food was served to table so well done.

Very generous portions, quick and delicious. Drove 45 minutes to eat here, it's that good. Friendly and nice staff.

The employees and managers are always so accommodating. I requested chicken fajitas, no rice, extra salad and salsa, no tortillas. Everything was made to order, fresh and delicious! Their portions are generous, allowing for another meal at home. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Great food, great service. Tons of options and food with awesome flavor. Try the Tacos Al Carbon w/ Shrimp. Highly recommend! Also, one of few Mexican places that serve refried beans and slaw with your chips and salsa app before your meal....that in itself is worth a star!
