We stopped here after taking a little detour from our planned journey to see the sea. Arriving in the car park the attendant recommended we try this restaurant and told us that we would enjoy the food. She was right. Really good moules et frites and nice burger. Friendly and quick service and not overpriced.
There was a lovely atmosphere in this town , and plenty of places to eat and drink. Quiet time of the year but expect it is very busy in the summer
It was a lovely atmosphere to experience. Loads of touristy shops and many restaurants to choose from. Very clean place even with all the visitors. Lovely walk along the seafront. Didn't go into the aena but it was being actively advertised around the town for bull demonstrations. We found plenty of parking if you pay and stopped on a car-park behind the prom. Well woth a visit. See bell tower.
Very touristy town full of souvenir shops and a market, however, the history of the town is very interesting and there is a large church. There is also a port area with tourist boats and some very nice looking fish restaurants. I popped into a bar for a drink and chose the only bar that didn't serve gin! I had a take away lunch of a filled baguette from one of the shops which was very nice, but my decision to sit in the shade outside the church was a bad one as I was hassled by the gypsies who wanted money. Now I've been there I probably wouldn't choose to go again unless I wanted a souvenir of course!
