フィードバックを提供するThe ambiente is cozy and attractive. the service is friendly. the dishes are just a wonderful experience with creative taste and balance. one of the two best cook in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
We had dinner here and 3 lunches during a seminar in the hotel. eating was usually good (I can't judge the prices), but teller were cold and sometimes also the food and even the suppen. house wine was. very average.
I would say that this comes close to most I have ever spent for two meal times, at least if only one bottle of wine is involved.) and it was unfortunately one of the worst. I can't complain about the service they were. really nice, but eating was bad. an amuse tree of carrots, (not tasteful, as they expect;) appetizer of sardiade, which was salty, but little otherwise; and the main, a fish risotto (which was my introduction to camargue red rice) was a cheeky chaos of shrub rices and broken fish balls. I apologise for this review at the cook, but the inequality between the trips and therefore my expectation and quality have probably hardened my opinion. if I had served the risotto at home, I would have apologized to my guests.
We have believed this restaurant during the stay in the opposite and were tempted by the promise when a gypsy evening, the pictures of the click of chestnuts and whirl dresses enchanted. wrong. the personal is extremely attentive and that eats very reasonable, but it is not. a large device, and wherever the two guitarists/singer managed to position themselves, it was to the part of the normal conversation, and that was somewhat less than tunable duo was intrusiw. the timings for this musical interlude were advertised from 19:30 to 21:30, but until 22:00 my ears had everything they could take and we left. it was certainly not my cup tee with regard to restaurants entertainment and although I am sure that the administration are very proud of their gypsy, it was a choice that I should not make twice, I should have music on a few Friday evenings.
I would say this is coming close to the most I've ever spent on a meal for two ( at least where only one bottle of wine is involved). And it was unfortunately one of the worst.I can't complain about the service, they were actually lovely, but the food was poor.An amuse-bouche of carrot purée, (not skilfully flavoured as you'd expect;) starters of anchoiade which was salty but little else; and the main, a fish risotto (which was my introduction to Camargue red rice), was a cheesy mess of stodgy rice and battered fish balls.I do apologise to the chef for this review but the disparity between the prices, and therefore my expectation and the quality, have probably hardened my opinion. If I'd served that risotto at home I'd have been apologising to my guests.
