Domaine Du Petit Plessis

What a difference from last night. Continuing on with the celebrations for the Brunette's 40th, it was her sister's choice and it's a cracker. Well-worked dishes with surprising flavours, nice balance and beautifully presented. (Confirming our suspicions about last night's overpriced disappointment in Azay-le-Rideau). My assorted salmon starter was just gorgeous. Fresh and lively. And the guinea fowl with morel mushrooms was also perfect. A very tasty Pinot Gris and a Moulin A Vent washed everything down nicely. I did find the table to be too big. Seriously, it was massive. There was only 9 of us and it was the size of a squash court!

The place is beautiful, the staff is very professional, I went to work (manageal encounters), it was very nice. Thank you. I recommend, the buffet and pastries were delicious. Bravo and thank you.
