フィードバックを提供するWe celebrated our 25th anniversary on 6 May last. the owners and the waterfowl staff were tremendous in all respects. we are colorful people and had special needs for this day that we wanted unique to us and our guests. the eagerness, generosity, flexibility, quality of service, the accuracy of the communications before and after, the delicacy and attention to the particularities of the menu, due to allergies and religions, the discretion of the service and the respect of the moments of speech, the special care to the specific needs due to decorations or precise accessories for the content of the party; all these reasons have made our party magical as much for us as for our guests. Moreover, we took advantage of the accommodation at the loft. a hull and comfortable place for the needs we had. well slept, well rested and happy with the event. Thank you especially to Jeremiah with whom we have elaborated the details and thank you to his spouse for his kindness and patience, thank you to papa stone for the small details, thank the chef for the succulent meal and thank you to all the kitchen and room staff for your smiles and professionalism to the pleasure of all you seeing micheline dumont and larouche stone May 6, 2017
We were 20 people for my sister's party. very nice surprise our dining room magic decor. Very good meal, it was our first visit and we loved it. The service was excelling.
This restaurant is located on a beautiful farm with animals roaming around everywhere such as llamas, birds, rabbits, cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, and pigs. The food is delicious and bursting with flavor. The service is top-notch.
We were 4, very good meals, warm welcome. the groups were in separate rooms. We were with 4 other people which allowed us to have a quiet, peaceful environment as if we were in our own dining room. excellent and good quality meals. small flat on the choice of menu: we depend on the choice of groups for the choice of menu, despite an opening of the chef to try to find a solution to satisfy us too. Only on dessert would our choice have been different. The portions tend to be small so the 7 service is not too much either. the place is far enough from the outskirts of Montreal, you have to plan a designated driver for the return. We can bring our wine. the visit to the farmer well the fun. I highly recommend we go back to it with blows on.
I stayed at the guest house of La Rabouillere with my 12y/o daughter for a few days of March break, as a base for skiing at Bromont and other local activities. The little house (on the property adjacent the farm) is great, and offered everything we needed and plenty more. Jeremie and his family were open and accommodating which made the stay easy and enjoyable. Having the farm next door added a fun and unique element too.The main common area of the house affords plenty of space for the kitchen, dining, and sitting rooms. The loft bedroom is large and comfortable, with an attached sitting room and balcony. The main floor offers another separate room doubling as a living room and 2nd bedroom (pullout sofa). Everything was clean, comfortable and in good condition. Nice bedding is provided. The kitchen is very well appointed, stocked with the requisite tools and even some basic food items (rice, sugar, oil...) The only thing I thought of to add is a bigger, all-weather entry-way rug - to reduce tracking snow/slush/dirt into the house. The farm is quite large and includes a diverse collection of animals, which provides for great exposure and 'up-close-and-personal' animal contact. This is a 'working farm' not a 'hobby farm', so expect lots of animals (i.e. not named individuals - well, ok, WE may have given some of them names ;) ) and normal barn conditions. That said, there's a focus on petting zoo type stock (vs. cattle etc.), so there are critters here for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the lamas, goat kids, and a sweet baby donkey. We also had the amazing experience of watching piglets being born, and holding day-old bunnies.Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to experience the restaurant, but look forward to having the opportunity to do so if we can return in the summer. Same with the pool and outdoor fireside sitting areas.Things to be aware of when you go:1.The well-water is highly mineralized, but drinking water is provided.2.This is an isolated location, which is great for getting away from 'civilization' - just plan for drives of 15-45min around the area for off-site activities/attractions.Overall I can highly recommend this accommodation and farm experience. Great value and served us well as a base from which to explore Granby, Bromont etc.
