Catch 228 - Saint Simons Island

I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on St. Simons Island. The oyster happy hour was the highlight of our visit. We have visited twice and both times were excellent.

Catch 228 has some of the best conch we have ever tasted! The fish and shrimp here are also delicious. Despite being busy, we still received excellent service.

The food is great and the oysters are outstanding at this restaurant. This is our third or fourth visit and we have never been let down by the food or the service.

Exceptional. I sampled a wide variety of dishes and each one was fantastic. Whether you enjoy seafood, salads, or desserts, Catch 228 is the place to be!

The food was subpar at this restaurant. The steamed oysters were served at room temperature and the crackers were all crumbled and stale. The service was average at best, with the server seeming disinterested in taking care of us. I waited 15 minutes for my credit card to be taken for payment. To make matters worse, a different employee brought the bill. The atmosphere was clean but uninviting, lacking any charm.
