Fratelli - Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

We were very happy with our meal! Based on the reviews we were uncertain... but it was delicious! The service was good (we got our meal within 20 minutes), the staff was friendly and the food was really nice. It was very unexpected and very satisfied.

There are not many restaurants open on Monday in October, but fortunately our hosts were able to book at Fratelli's. The place was packed, so the service (also to get drinks and take our order) was very slow. But the Kalamari and Pizza were good when they were delivered.

Horrible experience today. Went for lunch. Ordered plat du hour carbonara pasta. Service slow and completely inattentive. Meal was undercooked sent back to kitchen. Came back just as bad. No discount, no apology. Would not come back. Plus the dish was nothing like...carbonara should be!!

So the 1st night food and service was amazing the 2nd time, am absolute disaster and even left cancelling the dessert as we waited so long..... would I give it a 3rd chance, maybe!

We tried this restaurant on our trip to The lovely town of St Remy, the restaurant was busy and very lively. We thought the tables were too close together and we felt like we were dining with the couple next to us, the staff were...friendly but quite abrupt, I put this down to the fact that they were very busy. I had a pasta dish which was average, and my partner had a pizza which wasn’t the best we have had, underdone in the middle and soggy. On the whole not the best experience and probably wouldn’t return.
