Burger Dive On Bay Street - Saint Paul

Was visiting from California and I can truly say, this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Definitely made my list of top 5! They give you 2 meat patty's and the size of the burger was perfect. I ordered the wedge burger and we shared a basket of fries. Their fries were also delicious. If I lived in MN, I'd be here all the time!

On a recent ideal evening my son and I enjoyed burgers on the patio. We were told to grab an available table and we were quickly greeted by an energetic convivial server. We both ended up ordering Wedge Burgers and shared a generous basket of deep fried, battered cauliflower with both the ranch and jalapeño aioli dipping sauces. My son stuck with water while I had a fresh tasting Arnold Palmer to drink. We found our burgers to be good and satisfying. I thought mine had great beefiness but could have benefited by a bit more bacon and blue cheese. But overall it was very flavorful. My son nibbled at the cauliflower and I ended up consuming most of the delectable basket myself. Lest you want to risk a scalded mouth I would suggest waiting for the molten nuggets to cool somewhat before diving into the pile. As we left my son remarked that he was glad that we checked this place out but he didn't think he would return. With all of the excellent burgers served in restaurants between the western suburbs and this spot, I concur. Still, we had a very agreeable dinner sitting outside on a perfect early fall night.

Hard to beat cheeseburger out of an unassuming storefront! Homemade pickles, and deliciously griddled burger... what more could you ask for??

Unbelievable burgers! We had a Wedge burger and Nacho burger with fried mushrooms. My Wedge burger was so flavorful with the blue cheese and handmade burgers cooked to perfection. The buns are soft flavorful! The Nacho burger tasted like a real Mexican nacho plate, so flavorful! The mushrooms were perfectly fried and the batter was amazing, all real ingredients here. The service and atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. What a treat! Keep it up!
