La Table Des Bains - Saint-Maurice

Me and my wife had our breakfast and dinner buffet when we stayed at the hotel. Pretty good choices. Recommended.

We were a little underwhelmed to hear that this hotel had a buffet restaurant instead of a la carte, but in fact, the buffets were great. The main course in any case isn't really a buffet, they cook the meat for you. This was hunting season and I was hesitating between roe deer, wild boar, pheasant, hare and deer. She suggested I have a small piece of each, which was a great idea! All meats were premium quality (tasty, tender) and perfectly cooked. The sides were also very nice. The starters and cheese buffet were also very nice, and so was the dessert buffet. In the end, as much as we enjoy fine dining, this was actually a very nice and better experience. The room was cosy too. And the price was actually very reasonable.

God selection of food at dinner and reasonable prices for Switzerland. Good local wines, also by glass. Quick and professional service. As a hotel guest you get a discount for the full buffet which I would recommend to go for!

Exceptional all-you-can-eat buffet in every way! Freshness, quality, neat presentation, really magnificent! Home and service at the top of the top! I recommend this place with my eyes closed!
