Très bons burgers à la carte ! Serveurs très sympathiques et souriants. Terrasse agréable et bien exposée, parfait pour un déjeuner sur les pistes.
The food is ok but service is terrible. Abnormally long waiting time to get your dish. Had lunch outside. My table and others were left dirty. Salad leaves from previous guests were left on the table. A waiter came to clean the table with a high degree of negligence.
Looking for a nice place to have a snack my friend pointed the beef and lobster on the slope and we were both exited to stop there midday. We did and Gosh that was a mistake from the first moment the manager said he will come in a second and then seated some other people who were after us. Then this man approached us and with his sunglasses on (strange appearance for a manager) asked us if we are two and lead us to two tables where people just finished and left. The tables were dirty, crumbs everywhere and all he did was to clear the surface with hand (i.e. throw everything under the table) and looked at us almost angry that we are noticing the sitiation. I explained we want a latte and to see the menu as we might want a snack or to eat, actually we were quite undecicive, but I am a client and I think I deserve some kind of respect in a place that pretends to have above three stars. we were rudly sent to another hall that turned out to be a lobby of a hotel, on another table where people just left. Anyway, we liked the menu and decided to go back to the restaurant and ordered half a lobster and croquets. The guy with the sunglasses was already unhappy for our lack of ability to choose and was just as rude as possible at that moment. Turned out he took our order as well. Comes our lobster, and while we break the claws we see that the meat in the claws was completely raw and looked more alive then boiled. My friend waved unsucssefully several times and at the end went there to ask to be cooked. That man, already furious took it from her, went somewhere and brought it back as raw as it was. Again we showed him how it looks and the diffrence between the main cooked body and the claws. Again he took the claw this time and left. I tried to break some more shell to find some meat and a sI opened it ..... it was raw. I asked the nearest waitress and she called .... the guy with the sunglasses. And he yelled, I mean literally yelled at me that this is the way french eat lobster, I can do what I want and he will do nothing. I said If you are not going to do anything I will not pay, this doen 't taste like lobster it taste like snot! And he carried on yelling at me that I don 't know anything, everyone likes it and I will pay, because he said so. He walked away somewhere again (I was ready to call the police at that point) cam ewith a bill and threw it on the next table and looked like he removed 20 EUR by hand of the price of the half lobster which originally was 49 EUR. Honestly that meat from the claws was not eatable at all. I lived in Paris, I went to many places in this beautiful country over the years, tried all types of sea food and had so many lobsters- I never experienced anything like this and not in a good way. While we we paying the bill, not with AMex, because he doesn 't take it, he kept yelling at me how I am the only person who doesn 't like it, his restaurant is always full (I wander) why there were so many empty tables then) and kept being extremely rude to both of us. It turned out he is the manager as well as a waiter.
We came here before Covid (3 years ago) and they had many different steaks to choose from. This was a real steak house. We waited until our last night on this trip to return for another lovely meal. They have two poor options of steaks and the saddest looking burger I have seen! I have never written a restaurant review before but I’m really hoping that management see this and realise that people have noticed the restaurant has gone from a lovely steakhouse to nothing more than an overpriced pub. Really really disappointed. Please change.
