They were selling out of some pastries after 11am so get there early! The chocolate almond croissant and brown sugar cardamom latte were incredible. Staff was super friendly and got everyone through the line quickly. We thought there were tables to sit there but there were only a few outside on the sidewalk. Not a lot of places to walk around in that area.
Their breakfast sandwiches are reasonably sized and quite delicious. Unfortunately we didn't get any of the bakery items/breads but they looked amazing. They also had a very simple, no nonsense drink menu the seasonal flavor when we went was lavender, and it was superb in the London fog. It also helped soften the harsh edges of the Cortado, but because of the strength of the coffee most of the floral note was lost which was a bummer. Definitely worth a visit though if you're in the area, especially if you're looking for a unique, small joint that partners with local(ish) businesses for a down home feel.
Fun local coffee shop with delicious pastries and fun and yummy extras to buy and bring home!
I have never once had a poor experience here even on their busiest days. The staff are wonderful, the pastries and food items are amazing, the coffee is good as well! Love this place and i am so excited for the to expand their business.
Lovely upscale grab and go bakery. Located west of Uptown in a fun hip area. There's some parking up front, but if you go when it's busy you'll need to find alternatives. This establishment does have seating, unfortunately it's outside. There's other boutique products available for purchase, but my interest would be the bread. I stopped by sometime around 1050 or so and most of the selections were taken besides a few sourdough. The pastry items were fairly plentiful, so I decided to go with a sweet daily danish and the ham, egg, cheese brekkie sandwich. Sweet Danish: this was very interesting and a nice surprise. They used malted chocolate crumbs atop a banana custard center. Overall a lovely item and would get this again or try just the banana custard alone. Ham, egg, and cheese brekkie sandwich: I think the biscuit? Or maybe it was a scone. While very decadent, you can feel the butter, it was also gritty and dry. Not my favorite item. I will confess I'm not a huge fan of scones. First impressions led me to believe it would be a biscuit.I would consider coming here again, but based on the amount of pre-orders, would submit a head of time for take away.
