Mas Tequila Cantina - Saint Louis

During our family vacation in St. Louis, we visited the Wax Museum and the Gateway Arch. On our way to the Wax Museum, we passed by this restaurant, and the delicious aroma drew us in. We decided to return for lunch after our museum visit, and I'm so glad we did! The food was absolutely fantastic. The taco was hands down one of the best I've had in a long time, and the tostada... wow, it was incredible! I received a generous portion, and I nearly couldn't finish it all. There were five of us dining, and the total cost was quite reasonable—about $13 per person, tip included. The prices are very fair given the quality of the food. Our waitress was wonderful, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine. I will definitely be coming back the next time we're in St. Louis!

We arrived at the restaurant after the baseball game on Saturday evening, June 16, 2018, just 10 minutes before the kitchen was set to close. Hungry for tacos or wings, we didn't want to impose on the staff, so we decided to sit at one of the sidewalk tables. We asked our waitress, April, if we could order drinks from outside, and she agreed. As she was answering us, we noticed one of her coworkers—whom we assumed was a manager—whispering something to her. Later, we learned he was advising her to allow us to order food along with our drinks. They kindly kept the kitchen open past its usual closing time to accommodate us, and we were truly grateful. April's service was exceptional, and the wings and drinks were both delicious and satisfying. Thank you, April, and Mas Tequila Cantina, for your excellent service!

I cannot describe what a pleasant surprise Mas Tequila Cantina is. Authentic, friendly... like you are walking into another place and time. Fantastic. The food is incredible. I don't normally order Carne Asada but the owner recommended it and OMG... unbelievable! You wont find piles of iceberg lettuce and gobs of sour cream on these dishes! And the cocktail menu? Oh hell yeah. 26 different tequila shots to boot! This place s brilliant. What a refreshing change Mexican done RIGHT!

Friendly personable owner and wait staff. They made us feel very welcome!! Several of us ordered the lunch specials (taco's, chimichanga, quesadilla, enchilada etc , more than enough food for the price. And the food was great. We will definitely be ordering again!! Welcome to The Landing :
