Barrio - Saint Louis

I had a wonderful experience at the newly opened Barrio. The chef does an excellent job with flavor and creativity. My favorite meal is breakfast; yes, they serve breakfast! I really enjoyed my morning sangria—thank you, guys!

Absolutely outstanding customer service! We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert that was not only beautiful but also delicious, as a gesture for the short wait we experienced for our dinner. We hadn’t even complained, and we were informed when we placed our order that our food would take about 20 minutes to prepare. We felt that the wait was perfectly reasonable, but we still received a delightful treat! The food was exquisite, and the service was exceptional! Highly recommended!

The former home to the Demun Oyster Bar, which was a favorite of ours, and was very happy with the new establishment. Great smash burgers, smoked chicken sandwiches and fries. The fried pickles were tasty as well. The cocktails are fantastic. We sat outside and soaked in the neighborhood ambience. We got a slice of Hank's Chocolate Cake and it was chocolatastic! The owner was very nice and informative on the menu and drinks. We will be back!
