Wakame Japanese - SAINT JOHNS

I came here and tried the chicken yakisoba and the rest of our group had Yaki udon, crab rangoons and fried rice. The crabs were good, the fried rice was fine, but the Yaki soba and the Yaki udon were terrible. Both dishes had a very sweet sauce on them, which is not traditional for these dishes. The vegetables seemed like it all came from a can and didn't taste fresh at all. The chicken also tasted strange. None of us tried their sushi, but I don't think we'll try again. We received a very good waitress, although the was nice and very good customer service offered. We also got lucky cookies at the end, which were very sponge and tasty.

Dined at Wakame last night for the second time in a month. Second time, brought out-of-town guests to try the delicious food. Everything was amazing, except for the extremely cheap styrofoam containers they provide for leftovers, which broke and leaked sauce all over the inside of the plastic take-home bags. But they still deserve 5 stars for the excellent food and service!

My family stopped by to celebrate 5 birthdays on the same day for lunch. The staff was quick with seating and the food was brought out quickly. I enjoyed an appetizer of takoyaki which even my grandfather (a less adventurous eater) found delicious. I recommend the sushi special options that they offer daily.

Home made noodles and dumplings, as the place positioned itself. We ordered miso Ramen, duck wonton, shrimp and pork dumplings, milk tea. Everything was delicious, staff friendly, the place was clean. I noticed, that many packages were waiting for to be picked up. Looks like it's a popular place around.

Fried rice was outstanding. The hot tea was only half a pot, enough for 2 tea cups. Our appetizer was delicious. My avocado salad was terrible. The 1st serving had several pieces of hair in it. When I asked for a replacement, the server was kind of surprised and asked twice if I wanted it replaced. When the replacement came, only the avocado and ginger dressing were edible. As you can see, I was given 1 measly green lettuce leaf. The rest was white, yellow, and a hint of green. The pic is more colorful than reality. We will not be returning.
