Wok Box Saint John

My girlfriend and I used to be huge fans of this restaurant, but after a recent visit, we were extremely disappointed. My girlfriend paid with her credit card, but they claimed she hadn't made a payment because the debit machine failed to print a receipt. Even after she showed them the charge on her credit card statement, they refused to acknowledge it. I can't believe such a ridiculous situation could occur at a restaurant! DO NOT GO THERE; they will rip you off, even when you have proof! It's such a scam! We will never return!

This used to be our favorite place for date night, but recently they've been prioritizing Skip and DoorDash orders, resulting in very long wait times for dine-in customers. When we inquired about the one-hour wait for two bowls of wonton soup, we were informed that there were many online orders ahead of us. If they are that busy with online orders, it might be a good idea to hire another cook to assist with dine-in services. I will genuinely miss their food, but waiting an hour for two bowls of soup is just too much.

Baek Baek’s chicken and poutine is essentially a wok box served over fries. This feels misleading for a local establishment. I would recommend avoiding and boycotting Wok Box altogether.

Maybe because Im from Edmonton where it started but this food and service werw substandard my Hong Kong spice was a mess and has spice but no flavor it was like watery spice, disappointed.

???????Don't waste your time or money especially on a Sumo box it was literally probably only enough to feed a 5-year-old child and that's it no joke and barely had anything in the Box, Very disappointing ? I do not recommend this place, like I said save your time and money and go to a real Chinese food place that doesn't rip you off and under feed you especially when you buy a Sumo box and you get a child's meal. Absolutely disappointed in they're serving sizes and taste wasn't that good also. The beef was chewy and the broccoli sparse and small and I also found a black hair in my meal so which makes me believe that these people don't wear hair nets. I literally paid $33 just to throw it in the garbage. NEVER AGAIN ?‍??????? and judging by the previous reviews these people don't deserve business, they deserve to be shut down, I'm just sorry I didn't read the reviews before I ordered or I would've been HORIFIED! Read the reviews, they don't lie.
