Strack Van Til - Saint John

Have had far too much bad produce and undercooked chicken from the St. John location. Have had 'salty ' donuts, old and stale bakery items, chewy whipped cream on desserts. Prices comparatively too high on many grocery items and wine. Deli and bakery customer service lacking. Never enough cashiers. Generally clean store, logical shopping layout, helpful baggers carry-out, friendly front desk, conveniently located.

Management suck here, just rude people. I dont have the time for.....

This store used to be great! Many things have changed just slightly but it is noticed throughout the store. Also, the online shopping is very difficult to find items and place an order. One last note, I've always learned that all employees at any job should acknowledge ANY EVERY CUSTOMER whether they need help or not. It is good customer service just polite. Maybe remind staff of this. On the other hand, there are a few very good employees some new some that I've seen for years.

For not knowing a store I did find everything on my list.

The saint john store doesn't have alot of items that Shererville has. I purchased to coffee cakes that looked good but when opened both coffee cakes on their bottoms were burned. The store is higher on prices then Jewels, Meijer, even Schererville store has discounts on bakery, meats,
