Jt Cafe - Saint John

During our recent visit to see family in St. John, we stopped by this restaurant for coffee and lunch. I had a juicy and flavorful pork chop, while my wife absolutely loved her fried okra. (I have no doubt it came from a bag, but it was fried to perfection.) We look forward to returning next time we need to make the drive to visit those not-so-great relatives nearby. (Yep, I said it.)

We visited this restaurant for lunch on our way south, and we had an amazing meal! We tried the daily special, which included a pork chop, mashed potatoes, green beans, a roll, and a choice of salad or cottage cheese, along with tea or coffee. Everything was delicious; the pork chop was tender and full of flavor, and the roll was freshly made with real potatoes! Our food arrived quickly and hot. The owner was very friendly. Overall, this is an excellent place to stop for a fantastic home-cooked meal. The prices were quite low given the generous portion sizes—truly a great deal!
