Coursey's - Saint Joe

We stopped by just before closing. The sandwich section was already closed, so we purchased a jalapeno and pepper pastry. It was incredibly delicious. I regret not buying more than one.

We make a trip to this restaurant several times a year, even though it's a 2-hour drive for us, just to savor the delicious dishes. Opa first visited decades ago, and it has since become a cherished family tradition for us.

This restaurant has the best smoked speck in the USA, and they also smoke sink and turkey. If you haven't tried their smoked meats, you're missing out!

A friend of mine about how great kursys are. he and his wife made a special trip 175 miles round trip to buy a few ham, and he took me a half sink, no bones and a package of circumcisions. he prepared his pro instructions for christmas and said it had no taste. he said they couldn't taste a smoke taste or any taste at all for this occasion. I was shocked because I have never received a bad product for 30 years or even heard of a complaining against a curscink. we do not cook ours, we only cut and eat cold for sandwiches or freeze. to my insult was ours exactly the same. no taste. No one is perfect, but since they are closed for the season, I have no recourse.

Shout out to John Neal and the staff at Coursey’s Smoked Meats. We always have a Coursey’s ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas and cheese and meats throughout the year but it’s a given request at every holiday. They never disappoint!!!
