フィードバックを提供するWe were a group of ten staying in St Jean de Sixt and one day we went for a walk up to the Tete du Danay (what a fantastic view! . On the way up we met Gaia the lovely dog at the Ferme du Danay, who made us feel very welcome. On the way down we stopped in at the Ferme and it was lovely. Karine and Mitch are great hosts. Karine was very keen to practise her English with us and we had a great chat with her she is so outgoing and friendly. We had the local beer brewed near St Jean de Sixt, and some plates of cheese and ham it was all excellent and just what we needed at the end of the walk. But it is the hosts who really make the place well worth a visit not forgetting Gaia!
This lovely stop boasts great local beer and a light lunch made of various cheeses and hams. The couple that run the place are extremely welcome and friendly but the friendliest member of the staff is their dog Gaia who greets you at the door and encourages you to come inside. We plan to visit again when we repeat the walk.
A beautiful winter discovery in the night! site accessible via the marked, climbing snowshoe path, a very good fondue at the arrival at the refuge, a reception at the top and redescent at the luge parking lot. We'll be back for sure.
Fantastic night experience rando, restau and luge! very nice place but an average reception and the amount to increase.
I strongly recommend this restaurant refuge! The kitchen is really made home and the shelter to sleep is top. super clean and well decorated. Winter as summer!
