Le Comptoir Des Catacombes

Great service and great food. Most of the waiters speak English and were very friendly. The location is nice too, with few people around at noon. Price is moderate.

Amazing food and service! Gabriel our waiter was very friendly, had lots of interesting information to share about the catacombs (which we had just left). All the food was amazing including the snails! Can't recommend this place enough!

Dropped in for late lunch staff brilliant (older fussy man who was the quintessential French watier). No issue with us not being French the staff were delightful. Food good and tasty. Did enjoy.

I can’t believe the 5 star reviews for this establishment. It’s clear from the get go that only French people are welcome. We were sat in the furthest corner they could find. I had to ask twice for a menu and another time again for a drinks menu. When I tried to order more than once, the rude older waiter immediately just walked away. It’s like we were inconveniencing him somehow. Once we ordered, we noticed that we didn’t received any bread at all; yet every single other table of people that had ordered received it. The food came out and was greasy. The portion of fish that my partner received was pathetic; especially considering the woman who sat next to us received one nice big piece and not the measly leftovers. I can’t profess enough how they made us feel so unwelcome and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any person.

Great stop after visiting the Catacombs with my wife. Good service, great food and snagged a few great photos of Le Comptoir after we left! We were there in November 2021, shortly after France opened back up to American tourists and left just before they shut back down because of Omicron.
