Been back three times since last review, they keep getting better and better.
My wife and I had dinner on a Sunday night as part of a party of 3. We had a great experience! New for Sundays is a prix-fixe menu for $39pp. However, we decided to order a-la-carte so we could try some of the dishes that were not on the set menu. We had one of the raw fish selections (wild Hamachi sashimi), deviled eggs, black kale salad, ramen noodles, and scallops. We shared a miso ice cream for dessert. All of the dishes were excellent, and the portions were very generous. The 5 courses plus one shared dessert were sufficient for 3 people. We took advantage of the free corkage for Napa or Sonoma wines. Total cost for our meal was $32pp plus tip, which I thought was a tremendous value. Our waitress might have been new, as she had to consult her notes to give us the details of the dishes. But her advice was excellent. She was able to arrange to have the scallop order increased from 2 to 3 pieces so we could each have one piece. As others have reported, the food comes out very quickly, so we took our waitresses advice and ordered our meal in waves . This is a beautiful restaurant. Others have complained about the seat comfort, but we were seated at a standard square table, with very comfortable chairs. This restaurant serves super high quality food, with fantastic service, at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Always excellent. Noise level would be high when busy, but seldom is at lunch/mid-afternoon or for an early dinner. We like it a lot.
