Beringer Vineyards - SAINT HELENA

We arranged our own tour for $30 per person, which includes wine! The area is beautiful, and the history of the wine cave was fascinating. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed exploring the property, which has a rich history and is listed on the National Historical Register.

Even the wine tasting experience was underwhelming. Despite requiring reservations, it seemed the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. Are they just trying to create an illusion of being a lively spot? I’m not sure. Things took a turn for the worse when the General Manager came over to greet us. My friend, who is a well-known doctor, felt embarrassed by her treatment. I share the sentiments of other reviewers and doubt the five-star ratings. Approach this place with low expectations and don’t hesitate to share your opinions!

We had the opportunity, Beringer on 8. September to visit a tasting. Adam led us through our tasting and was extremely personal, knowledgeable and entertaining. We have learned so much and really enjoyed our time. He's definitely a jewel! The plots are beautiful and caves were really cool. I hope to make it back soon for a visit!

Beautiful property. Our reserve tasting was excellent and our pourer, Erik Ortiz, was friendly and very knowledgeable. The wines were good and we bought a couple of bottles.

Absolutely fantastic experience we had Michael as our sommelier explained everything and the wine was superb second to none absolutely recommend!!!!
