Wood Ash Rye - Saint George

TL;DR modern and tasty food, friendly service. Highly recommended We came at 5:30 with a reservation, we had to wait a few minutes to have our table set. We were promptly welcomed by our waitress, served water and asked for drinks choice. I had a Desert Rain mescal-based cocktail and was quite happy with it. We ordered 4 ?appetizer?plates. Every is made to share at this restaurant. The grilled carrots were, grilled romaines were good. We were especially impressed with thesmoked turkey soup, very flavorful. I ordered the pork rinds, they came fresh out of the oil still cracking. They had put some spicy honey on top, quite nice! It?s a small plates/sharing format, so you get to try a bunch of stuff, quitefun! As the restaurant was getting full, it is true that the service was getting slower. I had ordered a plate of French fries that was not coming. The waitress apologized and remove it from the bill, very nice gesture. I had an excellentevening, the food was great and our waitress was very nice. If you are in the area and looking for a nice restaurant with good drinks, it is worth the drive!

Great new spot! We had a great experience here. Excellent service and really interesting cuisine options. We loved the decor and ambiance! We loved all our food, but the soup was a little too salty for our liking and the waitress took it off our bill.

My favorite restaurant to enjoy in St. George. They have innovative and incredibly flavorful dishes, particularly in spring/summer! Loved their black lemon cocktail last year!

They need better service. They ignored us for a solid 10 minutes and friends have frequented before with same bad service they ignore you until you get their attention

A few adjustments would go a long way at this place.... Take the lighting down about 50%, way too bright for the concept. Kitchen staff should be upgraded in appearance for an extremely open kitchen concept. Wine glasses were small and mismatched. Overall most dishes were good a couple misses on pappardelle pasta which was bland.
