This place has a refreshing menu with true meaning of farm to table, great mocktails, friendly staff and an eclectic decor.
It was so warm inside, the air conditioning wasn't working. As well as everything sticky due to humidity or just not being clean. I wasn't sure of which was the answer. Table, condiment shakers, napkin holder all. Yuck!I ordered the chicken fajitas. They had a great flavor but extremely greasy. Steak tacos my son had, he said they were good. He poured a little cheese dip on them also.Chips also looked tasted super greasy, almost like they were partially fried left in the oil to cool. Then, they dropped again to warm them up. (If that makes sense. Their is no salsa or pico to dip the chips in. Just a red or green sauce. Neither of which had a significant flavor profile. I did mix some red green in with the cheese dip. Made it a little better, but not much.
This is one of those Hole in the wall restaurants that are not fancy in the least bit. BUT the food was authentic and EXCELLENT! The young lady who took care of us was awesome too.
We stopped in here on a road-trip based on Yelp reviews and my girls were not happy with me......service was awful, we had to ask for menus after waiting for some time after seating ourselves, then had to ask for chips and salsa after ordering and getting our drinks, same experience with silverware and then the food came which was a just ok....we love local joints but I'd drive to a chain before stopping here.
