Sandbar Restaurant - Saint Charles

We arrived with a group of 12 and were quickly seated. Our server, Alexis, truly made our experience outstanding. She was the most professional and cheerful server I've ever encountered, surpassing all the other servers I've had at Wheelhouse. We ordered bottomless mimosas, and she made sure we were never without a drink.

We visited Bar Louie today for happy hour, but unfortunately, we learned it was only available Monday through Friday. However, we decided to stick around because of our server, Angel. I was impressed by her patience and she was by far the sweetest server we've encountered there. I ordered the gastro burger and loaded fries, which she recommended, and they were fantastic. All of our food and drinks arrived perfectly, so we will definitely be returning!

The menus are digital, so be prepared for that. I personally prefer it, but I can see how some might prefer a physical menu. Our waitress arrived at our table just minutes after we were seated to take our drink orders. She was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. My favorite appetizer was the potstickers, but the pretzels were also fantastic. The flatbread was delicious, and my husband couldn’t stop raving about the chipotle chicken tacos. We were so impressed by our lunch that we decided to return for a late dinner, which did not disappoint either. The staff was prompt and friendly, and I couldn’t see a single table that looked dissatisfied during either visit. Bar Louie St. Charles strikes the perfect balance as an upscale bar and grill without the hefty prices or pretentious atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back!

Service here is always very good I never have to wait. I ordered the voodoo pasta. I’m not a pasta guy but I like spicy and shrimp and sausage this has it all. If you are looking for something quick or as place to relax then bar Louie is your spot.

Amazing customer service, fun and positive energy environment, and food/drinks are delicious. I recommend this place to everyone who's looking for the total package.
