Allora Sacramento

Not worth the price. My wife and I set Nobu as the bar. The food is more expensive and doesn't taste as good as Nobu. So the value really isn't there. The staff was very nice and accommodating however. The location was a bit out of place for a high end restaurant.

I am not sure if Sacramento has a lack of GREAT places to eat or if most reviewers of Allora just say it 's great because they paid $95 to $165 person for a meal. Just because a meal for 2 is $400.00 does not make it 4.5 stars. There truly was not one thing about this meal that would make me want to go back or recommend it. I have seriously had MUCH better Italian food at hole in the wall Italian restaurants. I have NO problem paying whatever for a great meal but I left Allora feeling ripped off. People let 's be honest, just because a meal is a little pricey and the portion sizes are tiny does NOT make it GOOD (ESPECIALLY not GREAT)! I mean I would understand the SMALL portion sizes IF the food taste/quality made up for it. The one (and ONLY) truth to most of these reviews is that the quality of service is impeccable!

Amazing experience….I would 100% go back again. The food, service and ambiance was all TOP NOTCH.

Wonderful dining experience with great food. Was a great couples experience for my girlfriend's birthday. Highly recommend the fettuccine and octopus dishes! With a four course meal each and 5 cocktails between the both of us we spent close to $500 which includes the 20% gratuity and 3% kitchen tips. While it might not be an every month experience due to cost, we will definitely come back.
