Holan Kitchen - Sackville

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant! The food is tasty, the service is quick, and the staff are very friendly. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is served hot and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben’s and there was no water provided. Service was nonexistent; we had to walk to a foldable table to place our order ourselves. After we received our food, the staff disappeared into the back and never returned. I wanted a glass of water but there was no one to ask, so I went to a sink where I found disposable cups beside an area with plastic utensils that we had to help ourselves to. There was no signage indicating that this area was off-limits until, what I assume was the manager or owner, came out and yelled at me to leave. They insisted that I wasn’t allowed there and that I had to pay for bottled water. Overall, it was a very negative experience.

The atmosphere was frightening and a bit sinister. The food was quite tasty, though just barely. Unfortunately, about an hour after eating, I experienced a devastating bout of diarrhea that I can only describe as apocalyptic. I'm still shaking as I write this.

Ordered a number 2 and a number 9 .. got something else .. called back and Instead of making it right argued with me that I ordered a number 1. Very poor service. Will not be back. So disgusted with how I was talked to on the phone I couldn’t even finish my food.

Portions are spot on for the price you pay. The food is very delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Would recommend this place to the locals, tourists who visit the area.
