Dutchman's Hide Out

5/7/17. My wife I love the Mining Camp have been customers for 20+yrs. We have been wanting to try the Dutchman hideout for awhile. Based on reviews, we were very disappointed. 8pm reservation on a Saturday and this place was nearly empty. No hostess to seat us for 5 minutes while a guy stood working at the register. This place does not offer a full bar.. very limited, drinks though good are made with Sake and still . Seems like a place for burgers but definitely not a steakhouse....No. Service was good. We both ordered 14oz ribeye but they were completely different sizes thickness??? Both were very tough. Mine was ordered medium well and came cold centered rare?? Sent it back and it still came back too very rare ...i just gave up as my side dishes were now cold.. Bottom line 140.00 for 2 can get you a great steak meal,service and much more at too many places in the valley, like say Stockyards or Durants.....dont waste it here. If you want a 12 Burger great but not Steaks

Left after 15 minutes of not being greeted. Was not even busy.

Happened upon this place by a wrong turn and what luck that was! Awesome food and great service. As a bonus, right out the door is a breathtaking view of superstition mountain. Thanks so much!

Great food and very nice staff. We will definitely go back soon.
