It's expensive and tasteless, the first time and the last time!

My husband and I have to wait for our order for 1 hour, they’re too slow!!!! I would love to give them no stars if possible.

Yucky!!!! food is not good. Too spicy and salty for non-Korean customers. I was able to finish 20% of the portion.. what a waste of money I don't know how this restaurant is still running.

After visiting the K-town location in LA, I was thrilled to discover that there’s a branch in San Diego! Situated in the Zion food court, the main downside of this location is that you can't choose your own food like at the other venues. However, they did a great job otherwise; the staff member assisting me consistently asked how many of each item I wanted. When I didn’t see some items on display, she cheerfully went to the back to fetch them for me. My favorite choices here are the tripe, lamb, crown daisy, tofu skin, and thick glass noodles, and there’s plenty of other delicious options to mix in. I prefer the dry hot pot style, with a spice level of 3. Just a heads up—level 3 here feels more like level 2 in LA. I also noticed that they didn't have intestines or quail eggs available at this location. I was pleasantly surprised by the to-go utensil packet, which included a spoon, sealed chopsticks, and a wet napkin. Overall, the food still had the same fantastic flavor, though the experience felt a little less thrilling this time. I would definitely return and would also consider getting takeout!

This review has been a long time coming, especially since we visit this restaurant frequently whenever we're craving mala. We consistently order the build-your-own dry mala hotpot with mild spiciness and the Young Chow fried rice; both dishes are packed with flavor and have a wonderful wok aroma, or "wok hei." We did try their Kung Pao chicken once, but it didn't impress us, so we've returned to our usual favorites. One downside to this place is that the food takes a long time to arrive, so it’s not ideal if you're in a hurry.
